In these challenging times, we at Westport Gran Fondo have a duty of care to our participants, their families and to the wider community to do the right thing and at this time we believe the right thing to do is cancel Westport Gran Fondo.

Westport Gran Fondo with 2 exceptional routes catering for those who would like to Race Like a Pro ( Gran Fondo 126km) or taking in the breath taking scenery on a leisure cycle & give it a go ( Medio Fondo 76km) with your friends. 
Both events are chipped timed with winner‘s jersey’s up for grabs.

Following on from a very successful 4 years, Westport Gran Fondo is heading into Year 5 where an expected 700 cyclists will take part.
Westport Gran Fondo is the 1st Gran Fondo in the Republic and under the direction of our Race Director Paul O Brien this promises to be a fantastic sporting & social occasion.

With 2 routes to choose from, you can race like a pro or just take it slow… you decide!

Gran Fondo:
126km – Difficult terrain which includes the iconic Sheffry climb and the beauty of Glassilaun and Tully Cross.

Medio Fondo:
76km – Moderate terrain which includes the stunning Aasleagh Falls and the iconic Sheffry climb.
